Limited edition of John Abraham by Wrangler now in stores

John Abraham – style icon of Bollywood is all set to storm the fashion scene with his own designer label – John Abraham by Wrangler. The collection simply called John Abraham by Wrangler, is a collection of denims and non-denims for both men and women.

John, along with Wrangler’s international designer Salli Deighton and Indian designer Ramneek Walia, have put together this limited edition. While the collection reflects John’s vision, the designers have lent their creative and style inputs to make this design dream come true. The collection is a true reflection of John’s life and what he would wear and wish others would wear every day. Well-fitted garments with subtle detailing define the line.

Early this year, John Abraham and Wrangler announced the launch of a premium prêt denim line making this the first of its kind venture in the Indian fashion fraternity.

At the launch party to unveil his collection, John said, “Though biking is my original passion, I think acting and fashion come a close second. The world of design and style has always fascinated me, and earlier this year, I decided to develop this latent talent and got some help from someone who is associated with denim extremely closely – Wrangler. Along with my partners in design, we have put together a limited self-titled edition called John Abraham by Wrangler.

The jeans are designed the way an avid biker like John would want it – straight leg modeled on low-rise fits. Complementing them are cool linen shirts with interesting fabrics like yarn-dyed plaids and voiles. The colour palette comprises of Brazilian greens, azure blues, grey mélanges, pale salmons and of course, the quintessential white. How could the collection be complete without casual tees –John’s personal favorite for their simplicity, comfort and timeless style.

The John Abraham by Wrangler line for women is sexy, stylish and something the kind John would definitely want his kind of woman to wear. Like slim-fitting shirts, v-necked tees and tail hems, racer backs, halters and hoodies. Paired with minis, pedal-pushers, capris and halter-cut pinafores.
 While the styling of the collection is very international, it retains its own spirit and individuality. Denims are resin-treated, greased, beaten, combed with rakes & battered to bring out the real essence of denims. Clever interpretations of motifs carved in leather compliment the denim line. Cargoes are over-dyed & enzyme washed. All the garments have a copper foil seal to lend authenticity and you will also find a personalized message from me in the inside pocket.
