John Abraham will be felicitated on the 5th of June by the Vice President of India in Delhi for his contribution to wildlife and ecology preservation.

John is on his way to New Delhi to receive this honour. John gives a lot of credit to Mike Pandey of Earth First, who helped along with Maharashtra State Minister of Forests, Babanrao Pachpute to organize the relocation and rehabilitation of elephants from the Shahapur - Kolhapur area of Maharashtra.

In present months, John has also been associated with NDTV's Save the Tiger campaign. Apart from a number of other social and ecological causes.
