Character: Shiven
21-year-old Kaaya (Udita Goswami) has spent her entire life in a
Buddhist monastery in Spiti, under the watchful eye of her father (Dr
Mohan Agashe). Her father’s rigid views hold that sacrifice and
austerity in this life will bear fruit in the next. Though she obeys
him, she also yearns for love.
Soon, she is asked to find the 6-year-old reincarnation of a master of
another monastery, Lahmo, and bringing him to Spiti. But Lahmo becomes
the key witness in a murder case which is being investigated by Shiven
(John Abraham).
As Shiven’s and Kaaya’s paths cross, she is drawn to him. Shiven
escorts Kaaya and Lahmo to Spiti, but gets injured in the process. The
people of Spiti force him to stay with them until he heals.
While Kaaya and Shiven discover love, her stern father raises strong opposition.
Will Kaaya listen to her heart or her father?
