The Movie and Me

An action thriller directed by Nishikant Kamat.
Produced by Sunir Khetrapal and myself.  I played Kabir Ahlawat, a Goan pawn shop owner with a mysterious past.  The film is the official Hindi adaptation of 2010 Korean film The Man From Nowhere. The story revolves around a man taking vengeance against the drug dealers who kidnap an eight year old girl with whom he has a special bond.  "I went to Thailand especially to train for this film. I had to look and move convincingly like a martial artist and trained assassin. The regime was brutal and I had cuts all over my body while training for the knife fight.  But I've had many compliments about the result so I think it was worth it."
